What is that! The orange pole is just that, an orange pole. It is a mast which is usually used to hold permanent kites. It's called a Jackite pole. I was testing to see how it looked and performed. The pole is telescopic, going from 6 feet to 31 feet. I will probably use this pole to put a G5RV Jr. on since it contains no metal in it. It is made of fiberglass.
