This is the expanded S9v 31' MK II antenna. As the antenna is expanded, the wire, which is attached to the top tip, goes into the antenna. At this point in the process all the wire is in the antenna and has to be fished out with a small hook tool which comes with the antenna. It gets fished out a small hole about 18 inches from the bottom of the antenna. You can see my collapsed S9v 18' MK II toward the top of the photo. Photo taken on Tue, April 26, 2011
