A look at my radials for the S9v 31' MK II. As of this date there are two 32 foot radials and two 16 foot radials. I actually had more radials but they kept my SWR on 20 meters high. Through a process of elimination I came up with this number of radials. With this radial setup I get a flat SWR on 6, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 40 meters. I have a 3.0 SWR on 20 meters. Am trying to figure this out as I would like to not have to use my automatic antenna tuner if possible. You can see my S9v 31' MK II antenna on the vent pipe in the background.
