Here is a photo of station in transition. Shown here at the left is my new Yaesu FT-897D and on top of that radio is my Yaesu FT-857D. I had already sold the FT-857D on E-bay in order to pay for my FT-897D, I boxed it and sent it UPS to its new owner the next day. I had both radios for only a few days. Later on I sold the FT-897 in order to obtain my Kenwood TS-2000. You can barely see my Uniden Bearcat BC895XLT Scanner to the extreme left underneath my computer monitor.
