I took 20 feet of RG-58 coax cable and wrapped it around a long plastic drinking container. I added electrical tape to keep everything in place and waa-laa, a balun is born. I created this to keep 'common-mode current' from entering the apartment. It worked! My Samsung monitor's menu does not come up. I can still hear myself on my iHome speakers. Hmmmm....will have to work on that. I also registered a flat SWR on six meters using this balun. Photo taken on Wed, February 09, 2011
