This is the middle section of the S9 antenna. The wire you see here is the actual antenna. Once inside the green tapered telescoping fiberglass tube it sit straight and vertical. The wire is on the outside during the transporting to your home. As the telescoping fiberglass tube is extended more and more of the wire goes inside the tube. Photo taken on Sat, March 12, 2011
