Even thought this BuddiStick could not be perfectly secured to the High Sierra Jaws mount I did not want to give up my field test without making a contact. So I decided to lay the antenna on it's side and up against the roof wall. It actually fell once because of a wind gust. But I put it back up to how you see it here and got on 20 meters to see if anyone could hear me. I tuned into the loudest station I could hear and was able to make a contact with K0R (that K-Zero-R). We made contact on 14.270Mhz. It was a special event station in Boone, Iowa.
