Here you can see from left to right, my 22ah battery, Yaesu FT-857D transciever under which sits a platic container full of smaller components. My transceiver power cord, my hand truck on top of which sit some coax cable. The lower part of the photo features my Balun Design 4-1 Unun. You can also see my S9v 18" MK II antenna attached to the lower portion of my hand truck with U bolts. The hand truck is light but still more than heavy enough hold the S9 in place from wind from any direction. You can not say hams are not innovative. The antenna did not sway all afternoon.

Now you may be thinking, 'why not put a stake in the ground and put the S9 on top of it, as per S9 instructions"? It turns out that Central Park does not allow for stakes or anything else to be driven into the ground. It would be considered destruction of property. See how lucky you who own acres and acres of land are! Photo taken on Sat, April 09, 2011
