After setting up the antenna with radials I parked my back pack on the park bench and started setting up. You can see my Yaesu FT-857D transceiver, LDG meter, 22ah battery and coax on the park bench. You can see my hand truck antenna mount with S9v 18" MK II antenna in the background. As you can see I did not put the antenna too far away from me. Although the antenna was at a slight angle, the tilt did not hamper communications. Photo taken on Sat, April 09, 2011
