A closeup of my portable radio station installation. The black rectangular object is my iPad. I use it to log my contacts. I use the 73 iPad app. I then transcribe the entries to my paper log. I used my back pack as a portable desk so as to be able to read the radio display. I need to find a place to sit where those park cement tables are available. My Yaesu FT-857D transceiver sits atop the back pack. Underneath the transceiver is my LDG meter. My 22ah battery sits at the edge of the park bench. Photo taken on Sat, April 09, 2011
