I took my Yaesu FT-857D HF/VHF/UHF All Mode radio out to test my J-Pole and Magmount antennas outside. I used my 22AH battery to power the radio and my LDG meter to check out the SWR. I wanted to ensure that the high readings I was getting with the antennas on the roof were not due to the antennas themselves, but to properties of my roof. More on this later in subsequent photos.
