I added my Yaesu FT-857D and my MFJ 901B Antenna Tuner on top of the three batteries. Again, I am just checking to see what fits. In real use I would have at least a thin wooden platform on which to attach the Yaesu FT-857D with it's mount and would have figured out a way to secure the antenna tuner during transportation.
