Next I add a Styrofoam cushion layer to keep any metallic objects from crossing any of the battery terminals. It is has happened to me in careless moments. So now I protect against it. You can see the body of my Yaesu FTM-350AR on the right of the photo along with my Micronta SWR Meter. I chose to connect the various part of this go bag to attempt transmission while en-route.
