Here you see the last of my antenna equipment as I packed it up and took it off the roof. Shown here is my LDG S9 MK II 31 Foot Vertical, my router and vent pipe clamps. It's is sad to not use a perfectly good roof. To waste a whole floor of a building structure and for no good reason at all. One concern was lightening, but there is a building which is 12 feet away and has 50 feet over our apartment building and on which sits a 30 foot mast and remote antenna for furnace control. So lightening would have to choose to strike an object 80 feet below the nearest high object. I do look forward to the day when I can own a house and put antennas, wire and otherwise as I need.
