It's my new Yaesu FT-897D! I was going to wait to purchase this radio until sometime next year. But it was discontinued this past summer of 2014 and the retailers were down to the last 10 or less. So I called HRO and ordered one. Yes, I could have purchased a used unit later on, but one never know exactly the condition of these units. And I also purchased a one year extended warranty (beyond the one year manufacturer warranty). It's a radio I just had to have.
