The MFJ-259c with the back cover removed revealing the battery holder. This unit holds 10 AA batteries. I am using Alkaline batteries for now. I am not sure I will need to buy the battery charger and rechargeable batteries from MFJ. It depends on how much I use it. Photo taken on Fri, January 02, 2015
