My 6 meter magnetic loop using 30 inches of RG-8 and 11 inches of LMR-400. The inner loop is specially made in that I had one of the PL-259 connects have the inner core copper soldered to the shield part of the connector and not shield connected at all. It worked but intermittently due to the core copper not connecting perfectly well inside the PL-259. I will have to work on that. Photo taken on Mon, October 30, 2017
